Alida Monas was a daughter of Benjamin Monas and Carolina Olman. She married 23 February 1916 in Zaandam the widower of Hendrika Levi from Hoogeveen, Gideon Leeda, a son of Benni Joseph Leeda and Hanna da Silva Roza.
Gideon Leeda and Hendrika Levi had six children of whom the youngest son died in 1904, only 9 months old. Another sister died in 1915 and two children have survived the war. Rachel was killed in Sobibor and her sister Anna died 6 June 1941 in her residence Berchem.
No children were born in the marriage of Gideon Leeda and Alida Monas.
