About Klaartje Brilleman-Scholte

Klaartje Scholte, a daughter of Barend Scholte and Grietje Borstel, mareide 24 August 1927 in Amsterdam the widower of Mietje Pinto, (deceased 19 February 1925), Simon Brilleman, a son of Mijer Brilleman and Schoontje Aandagt.
Klaartje Scholte and Simon Brilleman had together in 1928 a daughter Grietje. From the children of her husbands first marriage, three were already married (Leendert, Levie and Sara)) and one unmarried Meijer who lived at another address).
Klaartje Scholte was born in a family with eight children, of whom two children have died already in 1895 at a very young age. One brother, who was married to Martha Monnickendam, survived the war and was remarried in 1950. Klaartje's other siblings, Levie, Leentje, Anna and Samuel have been killed all during the Holocaust.
