Salomon Levie Swaab was a son of Ruben Swaab and Clara Swaab. He married 4 November 1891 in Amsterdam to Sara Swaab, a daughter of Ruben Swaab and Vrouwtje Wurms. The couple had elven childeren in total; one baby daughter died only 2 months old; one son died young, 13 years old; four daughters have survived the war, of whom one was married to Mozes Wegloop, who was killed during the war, just as Ruben Salomon, Sally, Mozes, Barend and Rebecca Mietje, the other children of Salomon Levie Swaab and Sara Swaab. They all lost their lives during the Holocaust.
