She married Jacob Uijekruijer on 13 May 1930 after Jacob's first wife had died a year before. Mathilda Citroen had a stepson, a son of Jacob from his first marriage, who moved to Belgium in 1913.
Jacob Uijekruijer died on 21 September 1937 in Amsterdam.
