About David de Vries

David de Vries was a son of Samson de Vries and Lena Hamburger. He was married in Amsterdam on 4 January 1911 to Theodora Haringman. The couple had four children. Since 1932 he and his wife lived at different addresses.

The Police Commissioner of Eindhoven requested that David de Vries, living in Eindhoven, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
