Biography

About Ernest Otto Goldstein

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not traced them definitively in In Memoriam either. We have therefore labeled them as 'surviving' and have not listed their names.

Ernest Otto Goldstein was a lawyer in The Hague. He was married and had one child. Their names and fate are unknown. Ernest Otto was active in the resistance, probably as a radio technician. He was arrested on 10 August 1943. He stayed in the so-called Oranjehotel (Scheveningen prison), then he was brought to Westerbork, to Bergen-Belsen and finally to Buchenwald.
