Asser Kool was a son of Elias Kool and Elisabeth Elzas. He married 8 Februar 1922 in Amsterdam to Anna Robles, a daughter of Isaac Robles and Roosje de Jong. His wife was previously married but divorced in 1921. The three children from that marriage have lived until they got married, resp. in 1932, 1934 and 1936 in the family of Asser Kool and Anna Robles.
