About Simon David Neter

Simon David Neter, also known as Bob, was the son of Jakob David and Duifje Neter. Bob’s father, Jakob David, was initially a trader, and later a bookkeeper. Bob worked as an architect for the firms Van Ouëndag and Boeken, and belonged to ‘Groep 32’ and later the groups ‘De 8’ and ‘Opbouw’. In 1932 Simon David won a competition held by the society Architectura et Amicitia with his design for a youth hostel. He also designed a mansion in Middelburg.
