About Jacob Morpurgo

Jacob Morpurgo was a son of Abraham Morpurgo and Rachel Morpurgo. He married in Amsterdam on 19 December 1900 to Vogeltje van Engel, daughter of Hartog van Engel and Judik Salomon de Metz.

Jacob Morpurgo has been deported from Westerbork to Sobibor as a "Häftling" (prisoner) on 11 May 1943.

//Vogelina Morpurgo has been deported on 4 April 1944, together with her parents, sister and brother and grandmother, with Convoy 24 from Mechelen to Auschwitz, where it arrived on the 7th of April.
