Michiel Levi, son of Herman Levi and Elizabeth Heineman, married 27 July 1910 in Amsterdam to Jetta Cohen from Witten (Germany). She passed away on 26 December 1930 and Michiel married again in Den Bosch on 1 March 1935 to the widow of Abraham Duim, Elisabeth Stodel, a daughter of Wolf Salomon Stodel and Christina Katoen.

In 1935 Elisabeth Stodel married ot Michiel Levi in 's-Hertogenbosch and in 1936 she moved to The Hague. Her first husband, Abraham Duim, died in 1933.
