Juda Waas was a son of Asser Leman Juda Waas and Rachel Schouten. He married in Amsterdam on 25 October 1906 to Betje Schelvis, daughter of Joseph Schelvis and Sophia Blitz. The couple had six children. None of them survived the Holocaust.
