Abraham Sajet was a son of Levie Sajet and Mijntje Schellevis. He married 20 August 1903 in Amsterdam to Klaartje Veerejong, a daughter of Benjamin Moses Veerejong and Henriette Leefson. The couple had three children: Wilhelmina, Henriette and a daughter who has survived the war.
Abraham was born in a family with ten children, of whom, besides himself, also four of his siblings, Rachel, Hanna, Eliazer and Salomon, have been killed during the Holocaust.
