Rachel Tas, a daughter of Levie Tas and Saartje Hartog Peper, married 21 April 1909 in Amsterdam to Gompert van de Kar, a son of David van de Kar and Heintje Schraal
Her parents passed away already before the war. She had a brother, who left for London in 1911. A brother Hartog, and a sister Lea have been killed too during the Holocaust.
