Louis van der Noot and Henrijette Scholten were married at Westerbork transit camp on 22 March 1943. Louis was a sales representative by trade and a son of Marcus van der Noot (deceased) and of Lea Tailleur. Henrijette was a sales woman and a daughter of merchant Jacob Scholten and of Alida Turksma, deceased. The merchant Salomon Turksma, an uncle of the bride, and his spouse Rozette Benninga, served as witnesses at the marriage. They signed the marriage certificate.
