Philip Nebig was a son of Levie Nebig and Rika Slier. He married in Amsterdam on 3 May 1939 to C. Valensa. The couple had a child, born in 1941. In the transit camp Westerbork relatives held the child hiden, as a result of which the child survived the war. The wife of Philip Nebig was liberated in camp Theresienstadt.
