Isak van der Sluis was a son of Joseph van der Sluis and Esther Spaanbroek. He was not married.
His siblings were Simon and Elisabeth, who have survived the Holocaust, Klara, Gerrit, Ephraim, Jaantje, Sientje, Leentje, Benjamin and Marcus.
