Marianne Sarluis was the youngest daughter of Schoontje Drievoet and Jacob Sarluis. She married Aaron Blok on 6 July 1921. Neither her mother nor her two older sisters, Elisabeth Sarluis and Rachel van de Pol-Sarluis, survived the war.
