About Israel Frost

In 1939 Israel Frost came from Berlin to the Netherlands. He temporarily stayed in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Sluis before he was brought to Westerbork. In July 1942 he was allowed to return to Amsterdam. In August 1943 he had to return to Westerbork.

Israel Frost got married in Westerbork transit camp on 9 December 1940. His spouse survived the war. Israel Frost was an interpreter.

Israel Frost is mentioned in the correspondance in IISG (International Institute of Social History), Archive Jacob ter Meulen, inv. nr. 9, dossier 12. He signed a letter of thanks from the protestant refugees in Westerbork (5 January 1941) to a study group of anabaptists in Zaandam.
