Biography

About Rosetta Klein-Frankforter

Rosetta Klein-Frankforter's husband Jakob Klein died in 1903. The marriage produced two children: Adolf and another who probably survived the war. Rosetta ran a little grocer’s shop out of her home at Touwstraat 17 in Meppel. This was the only kosher grocer’s shop in Meppel. In late January 1942, the business was shut down and the inventory was taken. In the early hours of 3 October 1942, Rosetta Klein-Frankforter was taken from her home and transported to Westerbork.
