Israël Salomons and his family

Israël Salomons was the son of Carel Samuel Salomons and Betje Mossel. He worked as a miner. In 1909 he was married to Lisa Hertz. She was the daughter of Abraham Hertz and Bertha Caan. The couple had at least five children: Karel (died at a young age), Frida (died at a young age), Gustaaf (died at a young age), Klara (died at a young age) and Bertha, who lived at the Gulperplein in Kerkrade, just as her parents.
