Before he married Louisa Lopes Cardozo, Abraham Elia Jessurun d'Oliveira was married to her sister. With her he had two children who both survived the war.

Abraham Elia Jessurun d'Oliveijra and his wife Louisa Lopes Cardozo sent postcards from Theresienstadt in June and July 1944. Six of these postcards remain.
