The mayor of Almelo requested that Salomon Frankenhuis, a farmer, and Leentje Frankenhuis be located, detained and brought to trial. They resided at 25 Rohofstraat in Almelo. They had left their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Eduard Frankenhuis, a butcher, was married to Fenna Roos. They attended the wedding of their daughter Amalia Frankenhuis to Kurt Salo Israel Wiener. The marriage was performed at Camp Westerbork on 6 October 1942. They signed the marriage certificate.
