The Rosen family came from Mönchengladbach in Germany to the Netherlands in 1938. They had ten childeren. One daughter, Dorothea Rosen, was married with Jacob Boas. She died in 1935. Also other childeren of the couple went to the Netherlands, like their daughter Else Rosen and son in law David Kremer. Their son Arthur also lived in the Netherlands and did not survive the war. One child who was into hiding did survive.
