Levi de Leeuw and his family

Levi de Leeuw and Elisabeth de Leeuw were married in Tiel on 31 July 1885. After their marriage they lived on Beukelsdijk in Rotterdam, in a house that was their own property. The couple had four children. Their eldest son, Mozes de Leeuw, died in the war. In 1941 the couple moved to the Jewish old age home in Gouda, since Elisabeth suffered from diabetes and they could not afford domestic help. Both were picked up and taken away from this old age home.
