The police commissioner of Baarn requested that Saul Cardozo, his wife Judith Cardozo-Abas and their daughter Sara Abysel be located. They were Dutch nationals residing in Baarn and were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
