Filippus Salomon Cohen and Mietje Gans married on Sunday 17 June 1906 in Groningen. They lived in Garrelsweer (Loppersum). The couple had two children: Kaatje and Salomon Fillippus. Filippus Salomon was a Jewish butcher. His son Salomon worked for him. When the couple was deported they threw several postcards from the train, which reached their friends in Garrelsweer.
