Salemon Jacobs and his family

Salemon Jacobs was the son of Jacob Alexander Jacobs and Naatje van der Horst. He was married to Rachel Heijman and had two children. The youngest child was born in 1942. Two weeks later, the parents abandoned the child in the hope that it would be adopted. Both children survived the war.
Addition of a visitor of the website

The mayor of Rijssen requested that Salemon Jacobs, a draper, his wife Rachel Heijman and their two children, all residing in Rijssen, be located, detained and brought to trial. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
