Emanuel Haim Vas Nunes studied medicine in Amsterdam where he sat for his medical finals on 17 February 1912. He specialised in dermatology and venereal diseases.
He lived and practised medicine at 60 De Lairessestraat in Amsterdam. Apart from that, he also practised medicine in the Dutch-Jewish Hospital (110 Nieuwe Keizersgracht) and at the out-patients clinic for veneral diseases (2 Westerpark).
