Raphaël Montezinos married Roosje Vrougje van Gelder, daughter of Benjamin van Gelder and Rebekka van Leer. They had their chuppah at the home of the bride at 1 Parallelweg in Meppel on 26 January 1941. The couple lived at 24 Vechtstraat, fourth floor, in Amsterdam.
