Levie de Leeuw and his family

Levie de Leeuw was married to Louise Bos. The couple had a daughter Jetje and a son Jacob. The family lived at 74 Nieuwstraat in Deventer. Levie de Leeuw was a kosher baker. The family was in hiding on the upper floor of a home in Deventer. They were betrayed and caught on 21 November 1943.

The novel 'De Waterlanders' by Clarissa Jacobi is based on the De Leeuw family. On the front of this book there is a wedding picture of the couple.
