Marcus Cohen and Hanna Broekhuijsen came to 'De Weerd' in 1921 and lived above the flowershop 'Drijver', on number 16. In 1935 the entire family moved to the Elizabethstraat 31. During the war they were deported to several camps. On 28 November 1942 they arrived in camp Vught, on 24 May 1943 in Westerbork and from there they were deported to Sobibor.
