Pels and his family

Augüsta Zilversmit and her husband had besides the here mentioned children a daughter Bettie and another child that survived the war. Her husband and the here mentioned surviving child survived the war by going into hiding.
Addition of a visitor of the website

Augüsta Pels-Zilversmit lived with her husband and children at the address D 75 Weiwerd in Delfzijl. She went into hiding in Schildwolde, where she was picked up. Augüsta Pels-Zilversmit had some items of jewellery seized.

The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains a list of the stolen items of jewellery and a statement of the right to inheritance from 1960, among other things.
