Emmanuel Roozendaal was the son of Abraham Roozendaal and Rieckchen Hesse. He was married to Betje van Praag, the daughter of Zacharias van Praag and Schoontje Geleerd. The couple had at least three children: Abraham, Suzanna and one child that survived the war.
