Jacob Benjamin Gersons was a pharmacist. In 1912, he became the second secretary of the Onderlinge Pharmaceutische Groothandel (OPG) [a pharmacists’ cooperative association]. He married Sientje van der Kous that same year.
Soon after the German invasion, on 14 May 1940, Jacob Benjamin Gersons and his wife committed suicide.
