Jacob van der Wieken and his family

Jacob van der Wieken was married to Grietje Wijnschenk. They had gone into hiding in Wageningen, together with a sister of Grietje, Belia Goudeket-Wijnschenk. On 24 June 1943, a member of the Kolonne Henneicke raided the house and took the three people in hiding to Amsterdam.

Jacob van der Wieken and Grietje Wijnschenk married in 1912 in Amsterdam. They had a son Aron. By Royal Decree the family name was changed from Aap to Van der Wieken in 1919.
