Michiel Benjamin Levit was the son of Benjamin Abraham Calmers Levit and Racheltje Machiels Blindeman. Judicje Mozesdr. van Hasselt was the daughter of Mozes Hartogs van Hasselt and Henderika Izaks Joosten. Michiel Benjamin Levit married to Judicje van Hasselt on the 19th August 1900 in Groningen. They had three children. Benjamin Michiels (Ben) Levit and Racheltje Hendrika Michiels (Koosje) Levit didn't survive the war.
