Opdenberg and his family

Henriette Veronica Opdenberg-Kooperberg lived with her husband at H 17 Boekerenstraat in Stadskanaal-Wildervank. When they were arrested, several items of jewelry were taken from them. The husband survived the war.

The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains a list of the jewelry looted and a statement taken under oath.

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
