Mijntje and Sientje Zwarenstein were sisters. A third sister Kaatje, lived with her husband Pinas Zwarenstein and their children at another address. Mijntje, Sientje and Kaatje Zwarenstein were daughters of Philip Zwarenstein and Elisabeth Kleinkramer.
