Creta Louisa and Rosa Vogelina Kan were daughters of Israel Kan and Bertha Friedmann. Rosa Vogelina Kan was an office clerk for the timber trade Jongeneel in Utrecht. Creta Louisa Kan was an office clerk for Unox in Utrecht. In November 1942 they went into hiding. In April 1943 their friend Flora Snatager went into hiding on the same address. In the beginning of August 1943 they were betrayed and arrested.
