Sijlvain Goedhart and his family

The Roermond police commissioner requested that Rosa Goedhart-Hanau and her daughter Joanna Yvonne Goedhart, both residing at 7 Pieter Cuyperstraat in Roermond, be located, detained and brought to trial. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without obtaining the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 658) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.
