Fritz Günther Max Josephs was married to Frieda Rudawer. Their daughter, Lieselotte, was born in Camp Westerbork on 12 November 1943. Since Josephs was unable to register the birth ‘because of absence’, it was registered by the gynaecologist Herman Heymans.
