Izaak Richter and his family

Izaak Richter and Sara Manheim had three children: Nico Max and two children who survived the war. One of the surviving children had fled abroad a few months before the outbreak of the war in the Netherlands. Nico Max resided at another address. Three letters remain that Izaak Richter wrote from Westerbork, as well as a number of postcards.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 12313) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for :

- looted jewellery (S-claim, number 20/391)

- valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 9970/4660)
