The police commissioner of Arnhem requested that Joseph Adolf van Perlstein and his wife Rosa Johanna Gompertz, both residents of Arnhem, be located, detained and brought forward. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
