Abraham Barzelay and his family

The child that survived the war fled from Westerbork concentration camp on December 6th, 1942. It spent the rest of the war in hiding in the family's home. The child had married a non-Jewish partner in 1942, a week before such marriages were fobidden. The couple had their first child during the war (1943). After the war, two more children were born.
