Rosetta de Jong and her family

Rosetta, Abraham, Eva and Adries were siblings. They were the children of Izaak de Jong and Rebekka Frank. The parental home had 11 children, among whom Leentje and Marie Anna. Three other children survived the war.
The siblings De Jong lived at the same address in Waspik. During the war they tried to reach a savety by fleeing to belgium. There they were arrested. On the 8th of September 1942 they were send to the Sint-Gillesprison of Brussels. On 21th they were transported to the transit camp Mechelen. On the 24th of October they were transported to Auschwitz.
