Hans Andorn and his family

Hans Adorn was a rabbi. He was married and had one child. The family fled to the Netherlands and took refuge in The Hague. Following the Nazi invasion, refugees were banned from the Dutch coastal area. In October 1940 the family settled at 17 Thorbeckegracht in Zwolle.

A monument was erected to Hans Andorn in his place of birth, Hattingen in Germany, in the form of Stolpersteine. The city’s archives contains a biography of him, vol. 17, S. 12-16."
