Karl Happ and his family

The Gouda police commissioner requested that Karl Happ, his wife Lotti Happ-Cohn, their son Günter Josef Happ and another child be located, detained and brought to trial. The family lived at 5 Van Itersonlaan in Gouda. They were suspected of having left Gouda without the required authorization on 8 August 1942 and had been missing since then. Algemeen Politieblad, nr 33, 20 August 1942, 949, notice 1580

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
