The mayor of Steenwijk requested that Gersom Gosschalk, with no occupation, his wife Saartje Slager and their son Heiman David Gosschalk, all residing in Steenwijk, be located, detained and brought to trial. They had left their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
