Froukje Frank was the daughter of Izaak Elkan Frank and Hanna Cohen. Froukje was earlier married to Hartog Marcus, who died in 1930. They had three children. Her eldest daughter Hanna died before the war. Her son Abraham Marcus was shot by the Germans in 1942. Abraham is buried beside his fathers grave in Groningen. Froukjes youngest child survived the war.
After Hartogs dead Froukje remarried to Levie Cohen.
