Jacob Levie van Brink was the son of Hijman van Brink and Geertruid Schenk. He married Sebilla de Jongh in 1917. She was the daughter of Meijer de Jongh and Sara van Buuren. The couple had two children: Hijman Meijer and Sara Geertruida. Sebilla van Brink-de Jongh died in July 1940.
